Cyfoes is a retail outlet based on Quay Street, Ammanford and in Hengwrt, Carmarthen Street, Llandeilo. We sell Welsh products such as books, cards, CDs, DVDs, children’s clothing, crafts, gifts and homeware. The company was established in 2013 following the closure of Siop y Cennen, the Welsh shop that served the residents of Ammanford and beyond for 25 years.

We are proud to supply many of our local schools and pre-school groups with Welsh and bilingual books and educational material. We offer a discount to all schools and similar groups who order from us, as well as free local delivery. We also offer a postal service to our customers.

A Welsh language community hub is also based at the premises, which is managed by Menter Dinefwr, sister company of Cyfoes.
